We’re excited to welcome you into the Federal Hill Prep Family! Please review the instructions below based on your child’s expected grade level for next year. Only NEW students will need to register.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Pre-Registration
Pre-K Waiver Process (students too young for Pre-K with a birthday between 9.1 & 10.15) - August 1, 2023
Early Admission Testing Application available from April 17- May 19, 2023.
Although the official registration window is not open, you may pre-register to reserve your child’s space in Pre-K or Kindergarten.

After you submit the pre-registration form, your child/children will be on the Priority 2 list for Pre-K or Kindergarten at Federal Hill Prep.
When the enrollment window opens for Priority 1 and 2 students, the school secretary will contact you to complete the online registration process. (More info below, under “Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration”.)
April 17, 2023: Pre-K and Kindergarten Priority 1 Registration Opens
For students who are homeless and/or income eligible and/or have an IEP or an IFSP.
Must be turning 4 (Pre-K) or 5 (Kindergarten) by September 1, 2023.
July 1, 2023: Pre-K and Kindergarten Priority 2 Registration Opens
For students who are not homeless and/or income eligible and/or do not have an IEP or an IFSP.
Must be turning 4 (Pre-K) or 5 (Kindergarten) by September 1, 2023.
Priority 2 students are only placed if seats are available.

3 Year Old Programs
Registration for the 3 year old programs is on a first come, first served basis, with limited spaces for students who do not have an IEP or IFSP. Families interested in registering a typically developing peer should pre-register, and expect to hear from a representative of the BCPSS Early Learning Programs to discuss the program and next steps for registration.
1st Grade - 5th Grade Registration
Families wishing to enroll in 1st - 5th grade must register using Baltimore City Schools’ online registration system using the link below. Please email our school secretary, Lisa Collins, if you need assistance with with registering your child for 1st - 5th grade.
What You’ll Need To register (all grades)
Student’s birth certificate
2 proofs of residency (please see list below)
Immunizations record
Proof of income
Copy of your driver’s license
ACCEPTABLE Proofs of Residency
Gas, electric, water, home telephone (landline) or cable bill dated within the prior 60 days of your registration
Verifiable, signed lease agreement
Mortgage statement dated within 60 days
Pay stub dated within 60 days
Bank statement dated within 60 days
Social Security / Dept. of Social Services letter dated within 60 days
